Principal's Message

Greeting Evergreen Families,

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year at Evergreen Elementary School! The entire staff looks forward to working collaboratively with our families to ensure the academic, social and emotional success for our students. I extend a warm welcome to our new and returning families.  I am entering my 7th year as the proud principal of Evergreen School and I eagerly anticipate meeting you all in person. I will be having a parent information meeting on the first day of school in the school cafeteria so you can learn what to expect this school year. 

Tuesday, August 15th is the first day of school. Like every Tuesday during the year, it is an early release day. Parents are welcome to walk their child onto campus on the first day of school. Being that we are a closed campus, students are to be dropped off at the designated gates starting the 2nd day of school. We are committed to building strong relationships with our students and families in order to support and teach the whole child. We depend on our families to bring their child to school everyday and on time. Evergreen commits in ensuring that students achieve to high educational standards and provide a safe and nurturing environment.  

This year our school wide theme is “Individually Unique, TOGETHER Complete”.  We will work together to bring out the best of each of our students. Our uniqueness is what makes us so special!  It empowers other to grow, achieve, and complete the grand puzzle.  We are committed to preparing our students to be 21st century learners by stilling  the necessary skills to communicate and collaborate effectively.  Together we will educate students individual needs and use their individual strength to shape them into creative, critical thinkers who are motivated learners with confidence, compassion, and independence so they can make a difference in our global world. 

Establishing and maintaining a close school to home communication system is vital for student success. I am here to help our students be the best they can be. If I can be of any assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact me. All my communication with our families is done though Parent Square. Please ensure to complete your Aeries Data Confirmation starting August 1, 2023 and update your information so I can best reach you.

I am thrilled and excited to open up our school! I look forward to seeing our veteran students and welcoming our new Dragons for the 2023-2024 school year.
