How do I report my child's absence?
Call our attendance line at any time and leave a message with the following information:  student's name, teacher's name, date of absence, and reason for absence.    Attendance Line - (562) 464-2266

What is the best ways to communicate with my child's teacher?
Check with your child's teacher about his/her preferred method of communication (e.g., phone, email, notes).  You can call the office at any time (562-464-2300) to be connected to a teacher's voicemail, or click here for a list of teacher emails.  
 
What is the best way to get updates about what is happening at Evergreen?
Follow us on Facebook or Twitter.  You can also visit us online at http://evergreen.ewcsd.org.  In addition, look for the monthly Dragon Times, Parent Calendar, and regularly check your child's backpack.  
 
What are the office hours?
Monday - Friday, from 7:45am to 4:00pm.
 
When does kindergarten registration begin?
Kindergarten registration for the 2016-2017 school year begins on Tuesday, February 16.  All registration is completed online. You can access the enrollment link under our "Family Resources" tab.
 
Is there a Parent Handbook with school information?
Yes there is!  Click here to view it.
 
Is there after school daycare available at Evergreen?
Yes, it is available through THINK Together, the WYN Club, and The Boys and Girls Club.  The THINK Together program is available for TK-5th grade students, from 2:30-6:00pm.  The WYN Club provides supervision for 2nd-5th grade students only, and the Boys and Girls Club is available for 1st-5th grade students.  For specific information on availability, pricing, and sign-ups, please contact the organizations directly.
